About 12 hours later, Laird Towing had the entire load removed from the truck and was ready to attempt to get the vehicle back on its wheels.

The Sault Police Department reduced traffic so they could operate safely in the space needed, and the Sault Fire Department monitored for sparks or leaks.

The crews rigged the transport and managed to right the platform in a short time, which caused little delay.

The fully loaded truck belonged to a company in Edmonton, Alberta, which was founded in 2021. The cause is not known, but the drivers of the vehicle appeared to be at the scene attempting to roll it back today.

We’ve contacted the company for comment and will bring it to you if available.

The roadway is now open.
