Online material registration is underway for Skyliners Ski Swap

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – The Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation is delighted to announce that the annual Skyliners Ski Exchange will take place on Friday and Saturday, October 9.e & tene at the Pavilion (Ice Rink), 1001 SW Bradbury Way in Bend.

Due to COVID-19, only 50 people will be allowed in the pavilion (outside) at a time to shop. Face covers are mandatory for everyone. If the queue to enter the lodge seems really long, please come back in about an hour.

There cannot be more than 200 people in line because we want everyone to feel and be safe! Thank you for your understanding. That is why we are doing the sale over a two day period. It will also make for a more enjoyable shopping experience!

Appointment: 2-day sale, Friday and Saturday October 9-10e.

Public sale: Friday October 9e 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Public sale: saturday 10 octobere 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Online material registration: Thursday 8 Octobere 8h00-18h00

Removal of unsold equipment: Sunday October 11 9 am-12pm

If the shippers do not pick up the material by noon, it will be handed over to nonprofits on Sunday, October 11. MBSEF staff and volunteers must be out of the lodge by 12:00 noon on Sunday. Go to mbsefskiswap.com to register your articles.

Please Note: Only people who register their items online before October 5th will be able to register their equipment. Climbing with equipment that has not been registered online will not be allowed.

This is the first swap in the Northwest. Retailers are outfitting the exchange with new lower wholesale prices for skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, poles, goggles, hats, jackets, and more.

MBSEF will take a 25% commission on all sales. All proceeds go to junior programs run by the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation.

The Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that creates opportunities through competitive snow sports programs to help athletes achieve their athletic, academic and personal goals.
