Mesilla Valley Estate Sales will host the auction in partnership with ASTC in March 2022.

“We are currently looking for donated auction items such as jewelry, art, pottery, furniture, restaurant or service gift certificates and other items for the auction,” Denise said. Welsh, Chair of the ASTC Board of Directors.

If you have items to donate, contact Welsh at 575-642-2980. ASTC will arrange for your items to be picked up.

Welsh said donations can also be services, including free or discounted dental checkups; massage or chiropractic work; manicure, pedicure and nail salon work; hair cutting and styling; and much more.

Through a variety of fundraisers throughout the year, ASTC provides funds for stipends, transportation, and accommodations for students attending theater competitions, conferences, and festivals; pays to bring guest artists to the NMSU Theater Department in person and via Zoom to share real-life professional experiences to enrich students’ education and theater experience; provides funds to cover the costs of musicians, choreographers, and performance royalties to support theater department productions; and provides emergency educational funds to students in need.

ASTC was founded in 1984 by Tony Award-winning playwright Mark Medoff and Dr. Bruce Streett.
