Loveland City Council will vote for the second time on the city’s 2022 budget on Tuesday, the only item on the group’s regular election night agenda.

On October 26, council members voted unanimously to adopt all but two budget items – Councilor Steve Olson asked for more information on actual past budget spending and other fund balances before voting ‘No’ on the city’s budget, and Councilor Rob Molloy voted against new rates, fees and charges for the city’s utilities, later saying he was concerned about the impact of the increases on bills utilities for residents. The changes are expected to result in an average tariff increase of 3% for electricity customers and an average tariff increase of 7% for water and wastewater.

These points and votes on the factory tax and credits for the 2022 municipal budget will have their second reading as part of the regular agenda, while other budget items will be voted on collectively as part of the order. of the day of consent.
