I-70 near Columbia stopped due to accident, stuck trucks
Missouri transportation authorities are reporting major delays on I-70 in the Columbia area due to an accident and trucks struggling to climb hills.
A multi-vehicle accident occurred around 11 a.m. Wednesday on I-70 westbound at Mile 124.

Around 12:30 p.m., the Missouri Department of Transportation reported that a westbound lane of I-70 had reopened and “traffic is moving SLOW in this area.”
A disabled truck was also reported on I-70 eastbound at Mile 122 west of Columbia.
The Missouri Department of Public Safety reports further delays along I-70 in the Columbia area caused by tractor-trailers having trouble on hills after the area saw 3 to 4 inches of snow.
